How can I get Glow-in-the-Dark Star Off My ceiling?
I have a ton of Glow-in-the-dark stars on my ceiling that I want to take off. They have been up since 6 years, it is time for them to leave. The problem is that some of the sticky tabs are glued to the ceiling if they actually take the painting and the first layer of gypsum board with them. I know I can go to repair small holes, but I would avoid most Spackling 100 Dime sized holes in my ceiling. Any ideas or tips would be greatly appreciated.
You may want to look into a product called "Goo-Gone". If test first on a small corner of celing to make sure that chemicals do not interact with the painting. Typically, it dissolves substances adhesive in May and, where appropriate, make th sticky tabs a little softer so they are easier to scrape.
