Sealy mattresses have been a top rated product for many years and the company is the world's leading manufacturer mattresses. The company manufactures mattresses in the mid-range to high end prices. Sealy has not led the way for the use viscoelastic foam, but it brought out its own version, called Sealy TrueForm. Like other viscoelastic mattresses Sealy is the model using multilayer a core of high density foam (not memory foam) with a top layer of memory foam. Sealy argued that the inner core of high density foam provides support while the top layer of memory foam provides both support and comfort.
There are essentially three types of mattresses Sealy Truefoam choose, Series 8, Series 9 and Series 11 – the number is the thickness of the mattress in inches. The 8 series comes with 5 "of the High density foam in the core and 3 "memory foam in the top layer. Series 9 comes with 6" high density foam core and 3 "from the top layer. What exactly are the benefits of the Round 9 in the series 8, I can not really say that both have a 3.5" top layer memory foam – I do not see how an extra one inch high density foam core makes the series better than the 9 series 8. The 11 series comes with 6-inch high density foam in the core, a 3.5 "Visco middle layer and 1.5" convoluted visco top layer.
What I love most Sealy TrueForm mattress is washable, zip-lid – Series 11 is a cover of Velvet Cashmere said. In addition, all mattresses Sealy memory foam are compatible with the Sealy PowerBase, so you can set different positions and two massage units.
Simmons Mattresses ComforPedic
As Sealy, Simmons does not lead towards the development of viscoelastic, however they now manufacture their own version and even claim to have developed the "next generation" this type of mattress. It is true that the main grievance against the memory foam was a "sinking feeling" – therefore not being able to move freely while lying down – And it tends to "cook the sleeper" because the body heat does not dissipate quickly. Simmons claims to have solved both problems by using their version of foam called NxG Advanced Memory Foam. From what I gathered it seems to be a slight decrease with the quicksand feeling many customers complain. With the claim to reduce the heat, I can not say one way or another. The opinion of a principle essential is that the mattress Simmons ComforPedic is cheaper than a Tempur-Pedic mattress, though a little softer, and offers good value for money.
Simmons makes the following models of ComforPedic mattresses: The Simmons ComforPedic Original – comes with a removable Professionally dry-cleanable cover velvet and suede; The Nassau Simmons – comes with an extra layer of latex; Simmons ComforPedic is the natural next step up – you get a thicker layer or memory foam, an inner layer of latex and the Simmons patented Edge Support System (some people do benefit their firm mattress though how this offers more support while sleeping is beyond me) and the Mystery Simmons – comes with the thickest layer of memory foam, otherwise the same as the Natural ComforPedic; Simmons ComforPedic Nuvo – this is the most expensive and comes with the Simmons Nuvo bed and allows custom positioning of the mattress, which can be programmed for a variety of positions.
Tempur-Pedic Mattress
Tempur-Pedic mattresses are the first to utilize viscoelastic material in the construction of a mattress. Unlike most other manufacturers it is only the mattress memory foam. It is still the market leader and serves reference – all the manufacturing of mattresses, others offer comparisons between their client mattress memory foam and Tempur-Pedic – they do not seem to compare their viscoelastic mattress with someone else! So is – Tempur-Pedic mattress the best memory foam on the market? Opinions differ: some say a lifetime of back pain is gone when they slept on one, others say that the mattress sags after only a few months. In addition, the memory foam Tempur-Pedic seems to be stronger than its competitors.
The company originally made only one model mattress, which was available in the usual standard sizes. Probably because of market competition, it now has several models available, last is the Tempur-Pedic CelebrityBed. It is the thickest mattress available with an extra 2 "Tempur pillow top – this mattress is very expensive twice the price of Tempur-Pedic Classic, if it is worth all the extra money is highly debatable – I doubt that most consumers would notice the 'claimed' greater benefits of sleep CelebrityBed on the Classic.
